Mountain Transit supports Public Transportation in Big Bear and from Off-Mountain Locales
Mountain Transit offers several public transportation services for locals and visitors looking to travel into and out of the Big Bear Valley.
- Bus lines operate (at cost) to/from Big Bear Lake to/from San Bernardino. All Mountain Transit vehicles are wheelchair accessible and are equipped with bike racks.
- Dial A Ride service is provided free to pre-qualified riders Monday-Sunday throughout Big Bear Lake, Big Bear City, Erwin Lake and Sugarloaf. Sur Charge for service to and from Baldwin Lake and Fawnskin.
- Airport Transport: Flying into Big Bear? Have a ride ready when you arrive. Get a free ride to/from Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Contact Big Bear airport between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM by radio or phone 909-585-3219
