Make Music Day is celebrated around the world on June 21, the day of the Summer Solstice, in thousands of cities and hundreds of countries, every single year. We celebrate this Day of Music here in Big Bear, and you are invited. This is our 5th annual event here in Big Bear, and we will have over 16 Venues and well over 100 musicians, singers, and music groups participating in the heart of the Village in Big Bear Lake. Most are local artists and groups, and yes there are a few from off the mountain that will be here to share their talents.

And let it be known that attendance and participation is FREE for all. Singing groups, ukulele groups, country, pop, rock & roll, youth singers, punk bands... we got it all! Come into town and get a free kazoo at select locations and humm along to a few special tunes, or join in the kids percussion jam and take home your instrument. Busking on the sidewalks, you bet. And yes... we have an open mic where you can listen to multiple musicians or sign up to play during the day and share with us your special music talent. Come on out for this free music celebration event, Saturday, June 21, from 12 noon to 9 pm in the Village of Big Bear Lake.
