Welcome to Trout Lodge, a historic part of Big Bear with a rich legacy. For over 75 years this property was where locals and tourist alike created a lifetime of memories. We are honored to now own this treasured property and invite you to make cherished memories of your own.
Set on a fenced acre with nearly 100 towering Jeffrey Pines, this pet-friendly oasis offers a variety of outdoor activities. Kids and adults alike have a playground of amenities to choose from: volleyball, basketball, a spa with TV viewing, hammocks, horseshoes, mini golf, bean bag toss, tetherball, or uncork a bottle of wine & break out our S'mores kit and gather around our massive fire pit! If indoorsy is more your vibe, step into our newly remodeled game room. Inside you'll find air hockey, a pool table, two arcade games, a gaming area, board games, a mini kids' foosball table, and 3 TV's for the ultimate entertainment experience!

The backyard deck has a custom-built wood table, perfect for outdoor meals, working remotely, or homeschooling surrounded by the sounds of nature. Our gas BBQ is cleaned and ready for your enjoyment. And when the sun sets, charming string lights help create a magical atmosphere for an evening of outdoor gathering & star gazing.


THE CABIN
Our newly renovated luxury lodge was designed and decorated with comfort and relaxation poured into every detail. It features two stove fireplaces, perfect for cozy nights in. Heavy log furniture, custom stone spa-like walk in showers, chefs kitchen, Stearns & Foster Lux Estate pillow top mattresses in the master and queen bedroom, luxury pillows for a tranquil night's sleep, and thoughtful accents throughout to nurture your sense of mental repose. Every element has been carefully curated to ensure our guests enjoy the comforts of home-with an unforgettable mountain charm experience!

KITCHEN
Our open-concept chef's kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up something tasty while soaking in the stunning views of the surrounding pines. Our gourmet kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, spices, cooking oils, kids' dishes, a crockpot, air fryer, blender, mixer, baking essentials, a s'mores kit, and more. Our large wood slab island countertop is perfect for meal prep and doubles as a breakfast bar! We didn't forget you fellow coffee snobs; help yourself to our coffee/tea bar with a Keurig, electric kettle, and traditional coffee pot. We provide coffee pods, coffee grounds, and Tazo tea essentials! Our kitchen is pretty well stocked, just bring your favorite coffee creamer, food, and beverages- everything else is ready for you!


LAUNDRY ROOMOur laundry room features a HE washer and dryer, along with laundry essentials like complementary travel size detergent packets. It also houses cleaning tools, outdoor play equipment, and dog bowls for your pets.


THE BEDROOMS
Master Bedroom: King bed featuring Stearns & Foster "Lux Estate Collection" pillow top mattress with luxury soft gel memory foam pillows, stove oven fireplace, and En-suite with walk in stand-alone shower.
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed featuring Stearns & Foster "Lux Estate Collection" pillow top mattress with luxury soft gel memory foam pillows.
Bedroom 2: Queen-on-Queen Bunk Bed + Single bed with luxury soft gel memory foam pillows.


Each room is designed with comfort in mind, featuring custom log furniture, wood shutters, and freshly washed bedding. A pack-and-play is also provided for families.



BATHROOMSTrout Lodge has one half bath and two full bathrooms with stand-alone walk in showers stocked with hotel-size toiletries, luxury waffle towel bath sheet sets, and makeup removal towels. Each bathroom has a hairdryer and extra toilet paper for your stay.



FAMILY ROOMThe family room has a stove fireplace, a cabinet stocked with adult & kids games, and there's a large cozy couch which makes for great movie or game nights! And if you bore your kids with all the quality family time, we have an X-box gaming console with 2 controllers!



HIGH-SPEED INTERNETEnjoy blazing-fast internet speeds of up to 1 Gbps download and 37 Mbps upload, perfect for browsing, streaming, or working remotely.



PETS (Dogs only)We welcome your well behaved house trained fur babies. Dog bowls are available for use, but please clean and return them before check-out. Don't forget their crate, toys, and waste bags. Dogs are not allowed on any furniture, if you're not okay with that, please look for another pet- friendly cabin that better suits your needs.



BE OUR GUEST
We take great pride in Trout Lodge and are constantly improving it for your enjoyment. We are very hands on and visit our property often for maintenance & quality control. We strive to make your experience memorable, but remember some things are outside our control such as spider webs (or spiders) when in the mountains, or the presence of pine needles in the yard. We have an amazing team of housekeepers, maintenance crew, pest control, etc., and they work hard to ensure the cabin is spotless and ready for you, but the elements are constantly working against us. If any issues arise during your stay, please reach out and we will do our best to remedy the issue in a timely manner.
