Moonridge Coffee Company

At the Moonridge Coffee Company, our team recognizes our activities have direct and indirect environmental impacts, and as a socially responsible organization we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and being a sustainable organization.

We are proud to collaborate with Care For Big Bear to identify ways to further our environmental impact.

Currently, our sustainable practices include:

• The Moonridge Coffee Company previously sold 100% of its products in disposable cardboard 'clamshell' containers. In 2023, we implemented use of washable tin trays and reduced use of these containers by 90%.
• The Moonridge Coffee Company implemented use of a recyclable dumpster to recycle the cardboard containers that our food products are delivered in.
• Since implementation in 2023 we have recycled over 10,000 cardboard containers.
• In spring and summer, the Moonridge Coffee Company offers our spent coffee grounds for FREE to the public so that they may use the grounds to aerate soil and as a soil fertilizer. The program is titled Grounds For Growth.
• The Moonridge Coffee Company does not use any Styrofoam containers.
