WINNERS! - Festival of Lights!

This year’s Festival of Lights Holiday Competition wrapped up with an exciting awards ceremony at Big Bear Lake Visitor Center! With Visit Big Bear Member & Partner Manager, Mike Lindsey, kicking off the festivities with cookies, a photobooth, and dazzling Christmas decor - yes, we proudly display our holiday cheer into January! - it was the perfect day to celebrate Big Bear’s amazing lights displays.

And now…drumroll, please! Here are your 2025 champions:

Lights Contest - Business Category

Bear Prints & Gifts takes home 1st Place with their fabulous display followed by Little Greenhouse Florist coming in 2nd Place with their "Santa's Secret Workshop" display. Chirp Nature Center takes home 3rd Place for their "Gingerbread Birdhouse" display.

Homeowner Category Favorites!

Kristen Cadena – Wins 1st Place with her "Peppermint Forest" lights display.
Wendy Diemert – Snags 2nd Place with her fun "Bumble's Playhouse" display.
Ronald Krueper – 3rd Place with his display of "Krueper's Korner Lights".

Resident Winners!

Emily Schroeder – 1st Place with her festive lights display.
Josh Surico – A solid 2nd Place with his depiction of "O Holy Night".
Amanda Harrington - Comes in 3rd Place with her display called "Dashing Through the Snow"

Best Wreath Categories!

In the Business Category, Dubuque Construction took home the prize with their "Eagles in Love" Wreath along with Amie Kinne taking home the Homeowner Wreath prize entitled "Country Christmas".
