Santa's in town! Meet the jolly old man as he makes his rounds in Big Bear in preparation for the Night Before Christmas.
Santa Claus’ sleigh has its navigator set to Big Bear on his Google Maps app; because it’s the one spot in Southern California where he can play in the snow.Santa Claus is bringing Yuletide cheer to town as he takes a break from his demanding schedule to enjoy his favorite pastimes in Big Bear.
1. Santa Skis Snow Summit
Saturday, December 21
Santa will hit the slopes at Snow Summit and pause for FREE photos in the Base Area from 11 AM to 3 PM. Grab your family and friends, mix in a little holiday cheer, and smile big with the guy in the red suit.
2. Santa Hits the Tubing Hills
Sunday, December 22
Head to Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain as Santa zooms down the snowy tubing hills and takes time with children for photos and to hear their Christmas wish list. This is a FREE event from 10 AM to 3 PM.
3. Santa in The Village
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays until December 22
Stop by Santa's House in The Village for a fun photo op with St. Nick and Mrs. Claus. Bring your own camera, and drop off your letter to Santa so it safely arrives at the North Pole! This is FREE event from 10 AM to 4 PM.
4. Santa Claws Visits The Zoo
December 14 and 21
Bring the whole family to meet Santa Claus, take festive photos, see the zoo's amazing animals, and enjoy a special performance by the Big Bear High School Carolers. This event is included with regular zoo admission. From 11 AM to 3 PM.
5. Wyatt's Christmas Party
December 18
Celebrate the holidays at Wyatt's pre-Christmas shindig happening from 4 PM to 10 PM. Attendees can enjoy Holiday Treats, a White Elephant Gift Exchange, and visits with Santa!
6. Christkindlmarkt
December 21, 2 PM to 9 PM
It’s a little German and a little American - it's Christkindlmarkt! Get in some last minute holiday shopping, enjoy live entertainment, join in Gingerbread cookie decorating and ornament making, and more. Plus! Get photos with Christkindl - the German, fairy Christmas angel - and Santa Claus!
