We are overjoyed to welcome back our residents and visitors to a safe Big Bear Valley with a beautiful fall season to enjoy and events to look forward to.

Back to Big Bear Giveaway!

Starting September 20, 2024 - Book accommodations in the Big Bear Valley for check-in starting September 23, 2024 through October 29, 2024.

Reserve two (2) or more nights and a minimum reservation total of $400 to receive one (1) of the following free gifts to enjoy during their stay:

  • 4 Tickets to Big Bear Alpine Zoo
  • 2 Tickets to the Mineshaft Coaster and Soaring Eagle
  • 2 E-Bike Rentals (2-Hours Each) from Goldsmith's Sports

Bookings can be made with any Big Bear lodging facility from any booking site.

Once you have booked your accommodations, fill out the form below to redeem your free gift at the Big Bear Lake Visitor Center.

  • Lodging reservation MUST include 2-nights minimum
  • Reservation minimum of $400
  • Booking must be made on or after 9/20/2024
  • Check-in dates must be from 9/23/2024 through 10/29/2024
  • Not valid for reservations made before 9/20/2024 or after 10/29/2024
  • One gift permitted per reservation
  • The Free Gift Redemption Form must be completed to redeem a Free Gift
  • Free Gift must be picked up at the Big Bear Lake Visitor Center located at 40824 Big Bear Blvd between 9 AM - 5 PM any day of the week
  • You must provide proof of reservation when picking up your Free Gift. Acceptable documents include printed paperwork of reservation confirmation or email confirmation via cell phone
  • Free Gift redemption is based on availability

National Forest Closure

At this time, the San Bernardino National Forest is closed to all recreation due to ongoing Line Fire activity and resource mitigation. This means ALL trails - single-track, fire roads, and off-roading trails - are off limits until November 30, 2024. See Closure Order and Map.

Trails and walkways on City land and trail systems on private land are open to the public. These areas include:

Maple Hills Trails Complex (not a City walkway) - see map
