Experience Big Bear's scenic winter landscapes without a lift ticket. Big Bear Discovery Center snowshoe tours are suitable for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts. A trek into the open country via snowshoes is undoubtedly one of the best ways to enjoy the true bliss of Big Bear Lake's picturesque winter scenery. Tours are scheduled for Saturdays from 9 a.m.- 12 noon & 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m.- 12 Noon, ending March 7, 2010 (weather permitting).
